Synopsis

YEAR 2 PART 1 - GREY IN THE DARK Batman corners Catwoman after she steals Dame Rutherford's Catseye Pendant. The two fight, and he wins. He ties her up to a light-pole with the Catseye Pendant as evidence, where two cops find and arrest her.  Batman returns to the Batcave where he tells Alfred that though Catwoman isn't a killer, she is still a criminal, and he should not be attracted to her. Alfred remarks that at least this is not a threat posed by his other foes: Two-Face, Penguin or Joker, who are appealing their sentences as a group on the grounds that Batman violated their civil rights. The judge denies their appeal.   Catwoman escapes the police car before she can be booked, and she returns to her apartment where she plots retaliation against Batman. She reads about Two-Face, Penguin, and Joker's denied appeal and frees them on their way back to Arkham Asylum as a distraction so Batman cannot interrupt her next heist.   After the four argue, Catwoman leaves and changes into a new purple costume while Two-Face, Penguin, and Joker decide not to distract Batman as expected but rather to kill Catwoman for daring to order them around.
